Over the past six decades, various actorsâ€”institutions, groups, individualsâ€”have attempted to shape a transnational European identity. While research about the existence of a European identity, based on historical, political, and other commonalities exists in abundance, there is no consensus about its overall meaning.
Congratulations to Coral Reef Senior High School, G. Holmes Braddock Senior High School, and Miami Palmetto Senior High School!These three Floridian high schools have been selected and have been given an expenses paid trip to compete in the national competition in New York City at the Federal Reserve Bank in New York on April 27th.A total of 75 teams from seven U.S. states (Connecticut, Florida, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina and Pennsylvania) will compete for cash awards.
Belgium has presented an ambitious program for its six-month EU presidency in the second half of 2010. Belgium assumed the rotating presidency from Spain on July 1.
