One day seminar- Student orientation for students from the 10 high schools selected and who will compete for the Euro Challenge Competition 2008. An official from the Delegation of the European Commission in Washington D.C., Nigel Nagarajan, Economist and Financial Counselor, will lecture on the topic: "the Euro Area: Living in a Monetary Union; and Economic Challenges in the Euro Area". In the afternoon, a session is planned with Mary Gay Anderson, FIUs Librarian, International, at the FIU library to show to students how to access the database for EU sources at FIU.
