The Miami Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta organized a teacher workshop to help the teachers involved in the Euro Challenge Competition 2010 and to prepare them for the Euro Challenge. Information on the European Central Bank (ECB), the European System of Central Banks (ESCB), similarities between the ECB and the FED, economic indicators and statistics, basics macro-economy was given.The speaker was Alan Melchior, Economic and Financial Education Specialist, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta - Miami Branch.
