Two-day conference on "Nationalism in a Globalized Europe"
Location: Florida International University - Modesto A. Maidique Campus - 11200 SW 8th Street - Miami FL 33199 - Management Advanced Research Center Building (MARC) - MARC International Pavilion (2nd floor)
The conference is sponsored by the Miami-Florida European Union Center of Excellence, the European Studies Program, and the School of International and Public Affairs. The event is free and open to the public.
Dr. Alberto Martinelli, Professor Emeritus of Political Sciences and Sociology at the University of Milan, is the keynote speaker of the two-day conference. He will open the conference with a lecture on "Nationalism in the 21st Century - A European and United States Comparison" from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2012.
