The "Germany in Europe" Campus Weeks is organized by the German Embassy in Washington DC. A total of 25 colleges and universities across the United States are participating in the "Germany in Europe" Campus Weeks, which involve a variety of activities during the Fall 2013 semester.

During Fall 2013, the Miami-Florida European Union Center of Excellence, which is participating in the "Germany in Europe" Campus Weeks, will organize different events:

  • September 26, 2013 12:00-1:30 p.m. │FIU Green Library—GL 156 Video Conference with the University of Pittsburgh Conversation on Europe: "The German Elections Outcomes and Impacts"
  • October 9 12:00-1:30 p.m. │FIU Green Library - GL 220 Roundtable on the German Elections 2013: "Continuity or Change"
  • October 9 3:00-5:00 p.m. │FIU Graham Center - GC 140 European Film Screening: “Nous nous sommes tant hais” (How we hated each other) which re-enacts the birth of the European Union
  • November 4 12:00-2:00 p.m. │FIU Graham Center — GC 150 European Film Screening: "La Rafle"
  • November 25 12:00-2:00 p.m. │FIU Graham Center — GC 150 German Film Screening: "Goodbye Lenin!"
  • December 2 12:00-1:00 p.m. │FIU SIPA Building — SIPA 502-503 Recognition Award Ceremony "Germany in Europe" Contest Essay"
