Antonio Estella de Noriega is an Associate Professor of Administrative Law and Jean Monnet Professor "ad personam" of Law and European Economic Governance at Carlos III University, Madrid, Spain. He has recently published on the concept of “Law as Credibility”, on the issues related to a Member State's potential exit from the Eurozone and on the new ECB banking supervisory role. His book, The Legal Foundations of European Economic Governance, which will be discussed in this lecture, will be published by Cambridge University Press at the end of 2016.
