Roundtable on “Women's and LGBT rights in the EU: a model for other regions?” with Faculty Experts
Women's and LGBT rights are said to be held in high regard in the EU and most of its member states. This roundtable explores policies regarding gender and sexuality in Europe and abroad, with a focus on how such policies are promoted, diffused and measured. It will particularly focus on the disparity between women’s and LGBT rights in the Global North as compared to the South, and aims to find ways to improve rights attainment there. It includes experts on gender policies, sexuality and EU policies more generally, in an effort to compare approaches towards sexuality and gender equality.
