The Miami-Florida Jean Monnet Center of Excellence would like to share this upcoming event organized and hosted by The European Studies Center/European Union Center of Excellence (ESC/EUCE) along with the Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (REEES) at the University of Pittsburgh.
On September 28th, 12:30pm ET, we will focus our attention on Poland. Paweł Lewicki, associate director of the ESC at Pitt will discuss with Ambassador Janusz Reiter (Polish Ambassador to Germany and the US) and Dr. Anna Horolets (University of Warsaw, Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology) hopes and idea about the EU prior to the Polish EU accession as well as how Poland and the EU changed in 20 years of the membership.
