Join us for a panel discussion on how Russia’s war in Ukraine affects the politics and security of European countries seeking EU and NATO membership. “Frozen” conflicts in the Western Balkans and the EU Eastern neighborhoods have not yet found their final resolution and continue to spur uncertainty. Current challenges and the opportunities facing Moldova, Georgia, and Kosovo will be discussed. National policymaking and diplomacy experts will assess the threat of Moscow’s interference in these countries’ domestic politics and the rare opportunities for achieving energy independence from Russia and accelerated admission to the European structures of cooperation.
