On June 14-15, 2017, the Miami-Florida Jean Monnet Center of Excellence organized a workshop entitled “Health and Innovation: Nanotechnology for Medicine: The latest research in NanoMedicine and its impacts on healthcare” with high-profile speakers:

The workshop included a discussion on the best research methods in the growing fields of nanotechnology and nanomedicine, as well as the impact of nanotechnology on medicine and its implications for the future of healthcare in Europe and in the United States. Participants also had the opportunity to discover the latest calls on nanotechology offered by the European Commission under the framework program for research and innovation, Horizon 2020.
