Green School of International & Public Affairs, Laurent Gallissot, Consul General of France in Miami and Andreas T. Siegel, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, gave their insights on the pandemic in France and Germany.
2020 marks the 70th anniversary of the 1950 #Schuman Declaration often referred as the "Day of the united Europe": a new milestone celebrating peace and unity in Europe. In this webinar, the two consuls general addressed the challenges of their respective countries and the EU, described the unprecedented support provided by the EU Member States to aid employees and businesses, and presented the phases of the reopening after weeks of lockdown.
