HS Teacher Workshop: Teaching the EU in a Transatlantic Context

As part of our Miami-Florida Jean Monnet Center of Excellence EU-grant, the one-day workshop is designed to give senior high school educators an overview of the European Union and address issues affecting Europe and EU/US relations.

Topics to be covered may include:

  • History of European Integration
  • The ABCs of the EU
  • Institutions & Major Policies of the EU
  • The Euro
  • US-EU Relations, Migration, Ukraine-Russia, and other current issues
  • EU Resources
  • An Overview of the Euro Challenge Competition
