Let's celebrate Europe in Miami!

For Europe Day, on May 9th, several important events have been organized in Miami, FL.

  • Miami-Florida European Union Center of Excellence (EUCE) Events: The Miami-Florida European Union Center of Excellence (EUCE), managed jointly by the International School of Public Affairs of Florida International University (FIU) and the Institute Jean Monnet of the University of Miami (UM), invites you to various events.

Throughout the week, Europe is clearly in the spotlight with the 4th annual European Film Festival, which runs from May 5 to 12. To view the program, click here

On Monday, May 9th, more events will be taking place:

  • A ceremony at which certificates are issued to students of European Studies of Florida International University (MEUCE Recognition Award Ceremony European Studies Certificates (FIU); For the detailed program, click here
  • And an event celebrating the tenth anniversary of the EU center Consortium between Florida International University and the University of Miami. • Inaugural of the European Union’s Flags Plaza

At 5:30 p.m., Monday, May 9th, at the heart of Miami on Beethoven Promenade at 100 SW 1st Avenue in Miami, the European Union’s Flags Plaza will be inaugurated with the unveiling of the EU 27 countries’ flags.

The event is carried out by the Miami-Dade Transit and the Beethoven Society of Miami-Dade.
