Dr. Ronnie Hall will spend the spring semester 2011 as the EU Center European Commission Fellow at the University of Miami European Union Center. Dr Ronnie Hall joined the European Commission in 1989 and worked until 1998 in the Directorate General responsible for EU regional policies financed by the European Unionâ€™s Structural Funds and Cohesion Fund.

The Network of European Union Centers of Excellence Annual Meeting took place in Berkeley, California from March 25 to 26, 2011. (2 days).

EU AWARDS GRANTS TO TOP US UNIVERSITIES SELECTED AS EU CENTERS OF EXCELLENCE Universities from around the United States have been selected as European Union Centers of Excellence (EUCE) and will receive grants totaling 3.1 million euros to fund a wide variety of activities and research for the 2011-2014 period.
