Russia and China have both launched disinformation attacks against Europe. Vice President Jourová is leading the European Commission’s response to these attacks. On June 10, the Commission adopted its communication on fighting disinformation in the context of covid-19. Later this year, the Commission will unveil a new action plan. The European Democracy Action Plan will help improve democratic resilience in Europe and address the threats of external interference in European elections
